About Nadine Lindo
A self-taught painter of figurative subjects within portraits and fashion. I have been oil painting since school, starting in nudes with a heavy influence from the Impressionists to Tamara Lempicka, then moving on to portraits (to get over a fear of painting faces), however I have developed over the last couple of years into more of a fashion illustrating style of painting due to a love of old movies (1930 – 1960) from film noir to modern classics and fashion photography (same era and later).
